Biography:

The Zombie Piglin, originally known as the Zombie Pigman, is a mob in the popular sandbox game Minecraft. It first appeared in the Beta 1.9 Prerelease 2 version of the game.

These creatures are undead variants of the Piglin mob, which are themselves a pig-like race inhabiting the Nether dimension. Prior to the Nether Update, Zombie Pigmen were the default inhabitants of the Nether.

Unlike most hostile mobs, Zombie Piglins are generally neutral. They only become aggressive if attacked, or if another Zombie Piglin nearby is attacked. They wield golden swords and are known to travel in groups, making them a potential threat if provoked.

The Nether Update significantly reworked the Piglin family. Zombie Pigmen were effectively replaced by Zombie Piglins, who have a more detailed model and updated behavior, bringing them more in line with the Piglin's societal structure.
